Digilux NOW IMPROVED!
Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium bulbs are favored by growers because of the wide color spectrum and efficiency. They are engineered for use in digital ballasts and feature enhanced red and orange spectrums (HPS) blue spectrums (MH), better color uniformity, longer bulb life, and less lumen depreciation. Digilux bulbs can be used in both vertical and horizontal fixtures. Digilux lamps offer superior performance compared to traditional metal halide and H.P.S. lamps. Digilux HPS bulbs deliver 25% more energy in the red and orange spectrums as well as 25% more energy in the blue, violet, and green spectrums for the MH bulbs.

Digilux MH bulbs
These bulbs lit immediately on power up, unlike a brand new bulb, which requires a " burn in " first, before they will light. Why? The only explanation is, they're used. That would also explain the price.

This was the one and only for years and years until very recently.
This was the only 600W bulb that wasn't a conversion bulb, and was designed specifically for use with digital ballasts. Some conversion lamp make as little as 39,000 lumen. The Digilux makes 75,000. I've used these for years There great, and so is the 600 HPS .Unfortunately I believe Digilux has stopped making the 600 metal halide, but still produces the 600 HPS. The only new company making a non conversion 600W MH is called AgroMax. Their 600 Watt DigiPulse Metal Halide Bulb is only for digital ballast like Digilux. It also makes 75000 lumen at 4200K. I'll keep buying the Digilux until there all gone. $69.95
