Includes a magnetic ballast the Sun System® Hard Core® 1000 Watt Switchable 120/240 Volt Ballast, an Econo Wing Reflector® and an Ultra Sun® 1000 HO HPS lamp all packaged in one box.

The Hard Core® Ballast is quiet, rugged and dependable. It is 1000 watt Switchable HPS/MH Dual Voltage that runs on 120 or 240 volts. Open ballast design is compact while still providing superior cooling capabilities that extends the life of the components.

The Econo Wing Reflector® is pre-wired with a 15 ft lamp cord. No assembly required. Sturdy steel spine for added strength. 

The Ultra Sun® 1000 watt HO HPS lamp is a high quality lamp with excellent reliability and robust construction. Horticultural spectrum lamp and 2000°K temperature is excellent for plant growth and flowering.

    Needs better product description

    I am new to hydroponics, and just like many products on the internet, careful review is necessary before purchase. Both ballast and bulb work great! But if using tent the reflector will cause plants to wilt. Needs air cooled reflector for tent. Will keep reflector for future projects, but needed to make separate purchases for current project to work.

    At first i was a bit skeptical because of the wing reflector not A/C etc, but the ballast has a mh/hps switch so i said what the hell!, i yielded a massive amount of tomatoes this harvest OMFG! i think i can thank the wing reflector! i bet the glass reflectors do block out par and uv etc!!! and hps having the most umole output !!! DONT HESITATE BUY THIS ASAP!!!!
